Join us at the Moorhead Center Mall for our gift wrapping events on December 8th and 12th from 12 pm - 2 pm. We'll also have adoptable animals, a bake sale and reading with animals! Reading with animals allows children to pick a book (or bring your own book) and read it to a dog or cat that is available to adopt. We'll get your presents wrapped for you while you pickup some delicious treats and pet adorable, adoptable animals! Stop by anytime between 12 pm and 2 pm. Click here for more information Reverse Dog Sled Race Fundraiser Saturday January 26th, 2019 11:00 AM until 01:00 PM Location: Viking Ship Park Map: 202 1st Ave N Moorhead MN 56560 Welcome to the first annual Reverse Dog Sled Race to be held during Frostivle 2019, the event where you are pulling your dog! Registration starts at 11:30 $25/Team (Group register for teams of 2) Two categories- Age 10 to 15 16 and up Team consists of 2 pullers and one dog It is a timed race Race twice – Use best time Straight Track Rules for the Race 1. Sled can be made of wood, cardboard or plastic. Pulling Harness can be rope or any material comfortable to pull. 2. The sled will be a minimum of 2' wide and long. Must have sides with a harness to secure dog or a kennel (wire or plastic). 3. Padding for safety- think safety for the Dog. 4. Curling Club (701) 232-0341 Map: 4300 23rd Ave S Fargo ND Introducing our 3rd annual Curling for Critters event! Diamond in the Ruff Pet Rescue has been hosting this fundraiser on the Saturday leading into Giving Hearts week. This year, Giving Hearts Day will be on Thursday February 14th, 2019. All proceeds raised from this event will qualify for our match funds on Giving Hearts Day! This is a beginner event for those that have less than 3 years experience curling. Each participant will complete a Learn to Curl instructional prior to the start of the tournament. This is included with the registration. The top 3 teams will receive prizes. There will be optional contest stations for the chance to win more prizes including a 50/50 Hot Shot contest! Numerous door prizes will be drawn throughout the day. Sponsorship packages available.
