Kodi has been a wonderful dog! He is more of an only dog type of dog. He seems to know basic comands and is a great listener. He keeps to himself but occasionally will try to play. He loves belly rubs and to be pet. He greets me every night when I get home from work with kisses! The only bad habit of his that I have run across is he is a runner, and with any chance that a door gets left open or a yard gate, he will run. So he would enjoy a big fenced in back yard to run around in. Here is a little more info about him:

PEOPLE: Kodiak has done wonderful with all the people he has met. He has some bad teeth that he is going to get fixed in the next couple weeks but since he is in pain he will nip and growl if you get to close to his face. For this reason I would recommend either no kids or older considerate kids. He has not bitten anyone in my house hold but he has nipped at me when I get close to his face with out him "inviting" me (when he wants to give kisses he holds his nose up to your face/hand so you know what he wants.)

ANIMALS: Kodi would do best in a home with either a dog that will leave him alone or in a home with no other dogs. He has no interest in cats and often times I find him and my cat cuddled up and sleeping together.

KENNEL: Kodiak kennels well, and is queit in the kennel. He does wonderful with out the kennel so lately I haven't been using one. He has never destroyed anything or had any accidents outside of his kennel.

BASIC COMMANDS: Kodi listens very well! He knows Come, In, Out, Sit, and Lay. He also knows "Who wants to eat?" and "Who wants to go for a car ride?" He loves to go for car rides. He sits nice while riding in the car and jumps at every chance to go for a ride. Even though Kodi loves car rides it is very IMPORTANT to be careful and have a leash on him at all times. He is a runner and if you give him a chance to run he will. If a house door gets left open or a yard gate, he's gone faster than you can blink an eye.

Kodiak or as we call him Kodi is an amazing dog! We have only had him a couple days but he has done wonderful! He is a very quiet dog, we have only heard him bark one time in the last 2 days. Here is a little information on what we have experienced with him so far.

PEOPLE: So far he has done awesome with all people he has met. He has not been around any kids but from what I have seen he would do good with older kids or kids who will stay out of his face. He is so friendly and loves to give kisses!

ANIMALS: Kodi would do best in a home with no other dogs. He does not like when other dogs get to close to him, and tends to get nervous if he thinks another dog is going to play with him. He has growled at my two dogs and has gotten in to a little scruffle with the other foster dog in the house. He has done fine as long as they leave him alone. He does not mind cats. He sniffed the cat in the foster home and then walked away.

KENNEL: He kennels on command and is quiet while he is in there.

BASIC COMMANDS/ TRAINING: He seems to be potty trained, he has had no accidents in the house and will "dance" by the door when he has to go outside. He does well on a leash, and he know stay, come, up and down. We will see if he knows more as we spend more time with him.

He is a wonderful dog who has already learned his name. He will make a wonderful addition someones family.
