Hello there!!

My name is Van Gogh, although most people call me Van or Van the Man! My mom tells me that I am a typical playful puppy. I LOVE playing with my doggy foster friends, and I even try to get my feline foster friends to have a little romp every now and then. I also love every puppy, kitty, or human friend I meet. I enjoy eating, cuddling, watching TV (literally), and playing!

My mom says that I have learned a few tricks like how to take treats nicely, sit, and kennel. She says that we are still working on perfecting other cool things like walking nicely on a leash (which I am getting way better at!) and lay, but I she tells me that those are things that something called puppy school would help teach me also.

My mom is in school and she works so her schedule is a little all over the place some days. I am doing great at letting her know that I have to go outside when we are lounging around the house, but I am having some trouble when I am in my kennel since mom’s schedule isn’t the same every day. I KNOW that I could be 100% potty trained if I had a more set schedule, and mom tells me she knows that I would too!

Overall my foster mom tells me I am an adorable puppy with lots of love to give to my forever family as soon as they find me!!

PS. I am pretty excited for my first Christmas, and I plan on asking Santa for a forever home for Christmas when I go to see him this weekend. So stop out to see me and Santa, or come back next week so you can see my awesome pictures with Santa!

I had the pleasure of dog sitting this guy a few days. What a doll! He is not phased by my cat or dog. Van and my dog play great together, but are also happy to just hang out. He sits for treats and seems pretty good on a leash. He wants to please, which should help with his training. He is still a little guy and completely adorable-an absolute pleasure to have around!  Van will make someone a very happy pet owner!

This handsome fella is Van Gogh!! He is working on potty training, leash manners and sitting still for pictures ... but what puppy isn't?! His momma tried picking him up a little rough when he was young and off his ear flap came! His ear is perfectly normal, just missing a flap! He has only been here two days but we are excited to teach him all about the good life!
