Caesar isn’t like most puppies we've had before, but it's not a bad thing!. He is kind of timid and takes some time to build up confidence. Living with 2 large dogs may increase this trait, but he will need a home that is willing to take the time to work with him to increase his confidence with puppy classes and lots of love! He really is the sweetest puppy around, but loud noises or lots of commotion can sometimes make him slightly nervous (Who wouldn’t be when you are so small compared to everything around you!?), so he likes access to his kennel for when he needs a break. We are still working on potty training, but he keeps his kennel clean overnight and is just trying to remember that he needs to let us know when he needs to go outside. Caesar enjoys running around the yard with his foster siblings, but most of all he loves to cuddle with his people. He really loves that it is fall now so that he can curl up with a good movie and a lap. Caesar would really love to find his forever family to keep warm in this cool fall weather!

Caesar has been with us a few days now and is settling in quickly. He needs a little bit of time to warm up to visitors, but once he does he is a complete love bug! He has been doing very well with potty training and has only had one accident, which was the first night he was with us!! He knows how to “kennel up” and is quiet in his kennel.  He enjoys playing with his foster dog siblings until he drops for a nap. He lives with cats and is learning quickly that barking and jumping on the cats is not allowed. Caesar is quite young yet, so he is definitely in the puppy chewing stage, but is really gentle when giving kisses. He also has a fear of being on a leash so we are working with that slowly, and he is getting better every day!! He will make the perfect addition to a family that is willing to take him to obedience classes and take the time to teach him everything he needs to know!
