I'd like to start by saying, Sandy one of the best dogs I have ever had the pleasure to know. After the first few days of learning each other, she settled into this house like she has always lived here. She fully respects the boundaries of a baby gate- and *will not* jump it. Sandy still a puppy at heart and gets excited when meeting new people but settles pretty quickly- or if you have a ball or a proper treat, instantly. She needs a solid 20-30 minute play session twice a day and becomes the most mellow creature I've ever met.  On walks she does great, with minimal desire to pull, only because she has her nose so busy following something. She's a water dog, and a bird dog. She volunteers to play in the kiddy pool and will just stand there chasing the balls floating in the water, and she almost caught a bird mid flight taking off from my backyard. She loves a good rawhide, and if you have tennis balls, she will love you forever. (If they squeak it's better lol) She takes turns chasing ball with other dogs too, and has gotten along amazing with my Cocker Spaniel. I have a 4 year old son, and several children over throughout the week and she adores them. She still needs a reminder every now and again to settle down around them, because she wants to join in on the play, but is gentle as a lamb. When my son cries, or is upset, Sandy immediately goes to see what is wrong with him and wants to wash his face and make him feel better. I love this dog, and so does everybody who meets her.

Sandy has been *awesome*. She is super kind, and met my dog, and toddler with no incident. She is still very much a puppy and is focused on play. She knows sit, lay down, out (drop it), shake, knows the command ‘wait’, is about 1:5 on stay, and knows ‘rest’. Sandy is so eager to please anything else you wanted to teach she would learn or do her best. Huge bonus- she’s completely housebroken. She’s working on kennel, she’d rather be with people, but settles down after about 10 minutes. She is a water dog- and even hopped into the bath tub last night by herself. Sandy been nothing short of amazing since she got here.
