I’m Moose! Like the animal, but without the antlers. I’m the epitome of a #pawsitivetransformation. My before picture is a prime display of why my foster mom referred to me as “Mr. Magoo”. I couldn’t see and would run into doors and walls. My paws had so much hair covering my pads that I would slip around on smooth floors and completely Bambi’d it at the vet clinic. I’m learning to walk better on slippery floors but sometimes my foster mama has to carry me across. It’s really a game I play with her so I don’t have to step on the “hot lava” (hehe!). She told me I wouldn’t look like a poodle when I was at the groomer but now everyone thinks I’m a Labradoodle (face palm). My hair is growing back rather quickly, though, so I suspect I’ll look like a Sheepdog again in no time!

I’m a fairly spry 10 year old dog with a lot of life left in me. I’m a lap dog who loves attention (although mom says I’m too big to be a lap dog. Ch.). I admire all people, old and young. I’m working on picking up dog socialization cues as I like to be in my brothers’ bubbles quite often. If my furever home has other dogs, they may need to have a higher tolerance until I pick up on their cues. I’m totally cool with cats.

I’m a happy boy who smiles often and loves life! I’m crate trained and working on not marking in the house. This transition from being strictly an outdoor dog to an indoor dog is a bit of an adjustment, but I’m a quick learner and love laying on all the dog beds! I’d love to be your new companion!
