Hi! My name is Kal and I am looking for my forever home! I’m a sweet and very energetic 5 month old puppy. I am Kelphie/Border Collie so I will probably be a big boy. I weigh about 24 pounds already. My foster family has two dog friends to play with and a couple cats to play with. Well the cats don’t really want to play but I keep trying. Once in a while I chase him but I don’t hurt him. Actually they are almost as big as me so they do scare me a little.

My dog friends and I have fun playing and chasing each other around the yard and I try to be a big boy. However, I get a little scared sometimes when they bark to loud and pounce on me. I do share my toys most of the time but my other foster brother and I don’t always want to give up my chew toys. I try really hard to be a good boy and make my foster family happy.

I like to snuggle with my foster mom when we are watching TV or just taking a nap. I‘m learning new things every day and I am trying so hard, they keep telling me I am a smart little boy. When I first got to my foster home I didn’t always make it outside to potty and had a few accidents in the house but now I’m doing better. Sometimes my foster mom and dad get upset with me because I like to chew on things that I’m not supposed to but it’s fun. I am working on obedience and I can sit but I get to excited to sit for any length of time. I will need a lot of training and love to keep me busy and out of trouble.

I kennel up and I’m a good boy when I’m in my kennel. I don’t like to ride in a car and usually have an accident but my foster mom is trying to get me past this. I don’t understand how to walk on a leash but I am trying. I really want a forever home that I can call my own. I will show my family how much love I can give.
