If you are looking for a quirky cat, Rex is your boy!  First of all he is very outspoken and has a lot to say.  He says what he needs to say pretty loudly as well so an apartment may not be the right home for him.  

His next very unique quality is how he moves around.  He tends to hop like a bunny so his nickname is "Hoppy."  It is super cute and the vets have checked him over to make sure that he is not in pain or having joint issues.  He likes to do things with his front paws together and working in unison. And when he runs it is in a hopping way for a lot of the time. There is a video below showing his cute little hop.

A third very sweet (but a little painful) quirky thing he does is he licks your face.  He hugs you and licks your face if he hasn't seen you all day.  He needs to do this for about a minute to feel he has said his proper hello.  He is such a funny cat! 

His fourth interesting trait is he gets along better with kittens or cats who are younger than him.  It seems like he is not really sure how to socialize with adult cats.  He does fine with dogs.
