Foster Home Feedback- 09/06/14 Sorry I haven't written in awhile! I have been busy trying to get healthy! Since coming to rescue in Fargo, I started to have some potty accidents. My foster dad thought it was just due to change and anxiety, so he re-started kennel training me. Unfortunately this did not solve the problem completely and the vets think my problems are due to something called a "recessed vulva". A recessed vulva can cause urine to stagnate and irritate my bladder and urethra and cause urinary control issues. While I was on antibiotics, I did not have any potty problems, and it is unknown if this was due to the anti-inflammatory properties of the antibiotics I was on or because I truly had an infection that was not showing up. I am getting done with my second round of antibiotics, and now get wiped with a baby wipe after I go potty. This will hopefully eliminate the issues I am having. If it does not, the wonderful vet team at Two Rivers will do a sterile urine collection and culture to make sure an antibiotic infection isn't missed. I am also changing foster homes this week in case it is a grass allergy causing my problems. They tell me that there is a surgery that can fix my condition if it is needed. I was also having a hard time putting on weight, so they treated me for potential worms. Since then, I have been gaining weight and starting to look a lot healthier! Although the cause of my medical issues is uncertain and may take some time to figure out, I am still on the lookout for a home to call my forever home. I have gotten along with every dog I have ever met, I like children, am kennel trained, walk perfect on a leash, and love to snuggle! Please consider giving me a home. I will keep you all updated on my progress! Foster Home Feedback- 08/11/14 Hi! My name is Maddie! I was originally taken in by a rescue group in Tioga as a stray. They took care of me for awhile and transferred me to Fargo to increase my chances of finding me a good home. As you can see, I need to gain a few pounds. I have a vet visit on 08/11/14 to make sure I am healthy other than that. I currently live in a home with a bulldog that I love to play and wrestle with. I also spent a day at South Bark and loved everyone I met there. I walk perfectly on a leash, am kennel trained, and know how to sit. While I was with my previous foster home in Tioga, I did not have any potty issues. Moving to Fargo was a little stressful for me, and I was having some potty accidents at my foster home initially, but seemed to have figured it out. When I am not playing with my foster brother, I just want to lay on the couch and cuddle. I can't wait to start my life in my forever home. Could your family be the one for me?
