We can't believe that Zeke is still with us!  He loves to run & play!  He's so sad that he has been with his foster family so long and no one has come forward to claim him for a permanent furry family member.  He loves to love and snuggle but loves a good game of tug or fetch.  He is 100% potty trained, 80% crate trained with a little anxiety about it, but has been loving his new chew toys.  Did we mention that he loves apples of our apple tree?  He'll sit there & chew on an apple just like a person almost, between his paws.  Zeke super adorable & has the personality to match.  Won't you take Zeke home for the holidays?  He only wants a family for Christmas.

Zeke is loving ball and tug time. He is steadily learning sit, down, stay, and come. He really enjoys visiting our vet clinic daily to visit everyone and is always sociable. Zeke would do better with another doggy friend to play with and to keep him company while his people are gone. He is still learning to learn that his kennel is a safe place, and having another dog around keeps him a bit calmer.

Zeke is settling in well.  He has a new role as a vet clinic greeter like his foster sister Ella.  He loves meeting new dogs and people and is very polite.  He loves water in every form and frequently joins in on sprinkler fun, swims in the lake, wants to drink from the tub faucet and would love an invite to a shower too!  He is almost completely house trained and crate trained.  He would love to be in a home with a more confident dog to be his companion. He is learning what he doesn't need to be fearful of like fireworks. He quickly learned last night to settle in the midst of the loud noises he may never have heard of before. He learns very fast and is super loving. He  easily goes from active to couch potato with none of that hyperactivity like a Labrador. He dotes on my daughters 4 & 2. He frequently cuddles in with them. This is a great companion dog!

How gorgeous is Zeke?! He has been living in the pound for last week, so he has some pent up energy. Zeke is a young guy with typical puppy energy, but the Malinois breed is also known for their intelligence and stamina. He will need someone who is dedicated to helping him exert some of that energy both mentally and physically. Zeke has done well with the few dogs he's met, and is good with kids though he still tries to jump, so can knock them over. If you are looking for a running partner, Zeke is your guy!!
