Roan was a feral young kitten who was rescued off of the streets with his siblings. He was very slow to tame; always cautious and watchful when humans were around him. Roan was impressive with how stubborn he could be, even when his siblings were enjoying humans he would investigate but slip away when a hand came near him. His foster family knew that Roan was extremely intelligent and crafty so HE would “decide” when he was going to allow human’s into his world. And that’s exactly how it happened! When Roan was separated from his timid siblings it was like the someone flipped the switch in his head and he stopped feeding off of their anxious energy. He abruptly decided that humans were the best thing since canned wet food and he has been an absolute loverboy ever since. He can’t get enough human contact nowadays. Haha!

Roan is such a goofball. He always has his foster Mom laughing at his silliness.  He is very affectionate and wants to be on your lap for cuddles and naps.  He also likes to talk sometimes.  If you he can't find you he will call to you.  He loves playing with your feet and shoes. He thinks they are for wrestling but he is surprisingly careful with his claws and teeth. He also thoroughly enjoys the laser mouse. He is cross eyed and his foster Mom wonders if that affects his vision just a little bit because the laser dot needs to move a little slower for him compared to his current foster sister. He also paws the water before he drinks and then he stands with that paw in the water as he drinks. We are unsure if this is a quirk or if it has to do with his eyes.

*Roan has been using the litter box with no issues. He was neutered, had a wellness exam, FIV/FeLV testing, vaccinations, and microchipped (which includes a lifetime enrollment.)*
